Confession Isn't Weakness...

Don't buy into the lie that you're above receiving prayer from another...

More so, don't buy into the lie that asking for prayer from another is a sign of weakness on your part. It's not.

It's a sign of an inner dependence on God and faith. And that's the point. How many of us are carrying a heavy burden?  A secret sin?  Inner turmoil? We are promised a lighter burden, forgiveness, healing. But it requires a step from us. A step of courage. A step of faith. A step from darkness into light. Be of good courage and faith, my brothers.  Take that step.

He is kind.  He is faithful.  He will meet you as you reach out.

Humble yourself and He will lift you up. James 5:13-16 "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working."
